Hello and thanks for visiting my profile ,my name is Linley Bignoux.I am an Australian originally from Melbourne  but with Mauritian parents,.I was born in Blantyre ,on the 21/11/1975 .

Basically i shoot underwater, landscape, street and reportage nearly 99.9 percent of the time .My fulltime profession is  being an English Tutor TEFL(Teaching English as a Foreign Language) .

I am interested in Photojournalism and the photographic genres of Reportage and Street Photography when i am not photographing underwater or capturing landsacpes . Essentially my photographs are in 3 distinct areas,Photojournalism,Landscapes and Underwater .

I used to work for the Nation Media Group as a Correspondent Journalist and Photographer/Photjournalist reporting on stories in Mauritius which covered environmental ,business and current affairs .I also photographed for the former Mauritius Dive Magazine -Dive Mauritius)as a Underwater Photographer.

I have also  photographed  for varoius non governmental organizations and charities  and freelanced for several news agencies from 2010 to 2014 as a Photorapher and Journalist.

To date i have written  just over 165 articles as a Journalist and taken countless images as a Photojournalist covering environmenntal ,social issues and the human story of everyday life .

However, the bulk of my career was in the Distribution and Logistics  industry for 18 years in Inventory Management in which i worked for two multinnational firms in Melbourne Australia.

But photography is my passion and soul ,a way in which i can record without words.
